1) Sarita Nair, current CAO at the City of Albuquerque, planner and attorney. Ms. Nair will present on Complications/issues related to municipal, state, local, tribal receipt of disaster recovery moneys. Will future pandemics require preparation of hazard mitigation plans? What is good, practical information for the typical planner in moving forward?
2) Serge Martinez, Professor of Law at the UNM School of Law. Mr. Martinez’s presentation will address his area of expertise, housing law, landlord-tenant issues, amidst COVID-19.
3) Lani Tsinnajinnie, Assistant Professor at the UNM School of Architecture and Planning, Dr. Tsinnajinnie will discuss water planning and procurement to communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
4) Rob Schwartz, Professor at the UNM School of Law. Mr. Schwartz’s will be related to his area of focus, principles of healthcare resource allocation in times of medical emergencies/pandemics/increased demand/scarce supply, from a New Mexico legal perspective.
